Our Strictly for Milly event on Saturday 2 September was an incredible success, raising over £30,000 in one night!
Our 8 couples performed one dance each; we saw the rumba, tango, contemporary, jazz, jive, american smooth, bhangra and the paso doble. One of the main highlights of the evening, though, had to be a beautiful performance by two of our celebrity judges, Ryan McShane and Ksenia Zsikhotska from Dancing with the Stars Ireland, who took to the stage during a moving slideshow displaying pictures of Milly.
Congratulations to the three couples that made it to the final (a special shout out to Stephen of course for his very memorable outfit!), but the trophy was well deserved by Ed Hill – Milly’s dad – and his dance partner Jenny Morris, who performed a flawless Jive for our audience of over 400 people!
Thank you to all three of our judges, Ryan, Ksenia and also Kristina Rihanoff, for their enthusiasm and sheer energy throughout the night. And thank you to all of our very generous sponsors who help us to make nights like this truly spectacular.
